Beyond Bok Choy: The Chinese Kitchen Garden
Do you have experience with growing carrots and lettuce? Mastered the weeknight stir fry? Attend this workshop to learn how to grow and enjoy a wide variety of Asian vegetables such as chrysanthemum greens, luffa gourds, bitter melon and many more, along with growing tips for success. Gardener and home cook Wendy Kiang-Spray will explain how to use these vegetables traditionally and in your own recipes. Tried growing Asian greens but frustrated with bolting and pests? Learn tricks to grow lush and delicious greens. Love fragrant lemongrass but have no idea how to cook with it? Learn how to use the tough flavorful stalks in recipes.
